Why study English in Malta?

Malta is the only country in the Mediterranean in which English is spoken with native language fluency throughout the whole territory. The 160 years of history under the British rule gave Malta a legacy of English, which it took forward by adopting English as one of its two official languages after Independence. Schooling and University is predominantly carried out in English. Combining this with Malta’s excellent climate and millennial history, providing the additional bonus of turning learning into leisure and leisure into learning, make Malta an ideal base for studying English.
